Professional Experience

• Mr. Hira's practice consists exclusively of counsel work. It includes complex commercial litigation cases, some criminal defence cases, prosecutions on behalf of the Attorney General of British Columbia, and administrative law cases relating to professional discipline, political ethics, and other regulatory matters. Mr. Hira has appeared in all levels of court including the Supreme Court of Canada.
• Appointed by the Attorney General of British Columbia and the Law Society of British Columbia to the List of Special Prosecutors: September, 2007.
• Commissioner with the British Columbia Securities Commission: 1992 the 1994.
