Todd was born in Montreal. He received an Honours B.A. in Philosophy and History from Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, a law degree from the University of British Columbia and most recently a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Queen's University. |

Todd was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1990 and the Bar of British Columbia in 1995. He joined Macaulay McColl in 2001 and practices through a law corporation as associate counsel.
Practicing largely in defence of professional negligence claims and disciplinary proceedings, real estate litigation and employment law, Todd speaks regularly on professional responsibility, discipline and risk management issues.
During his years at the Bars of Ontario and British Columbia, he has been exposed to a wide variety of clients' problems. Representing Plaintiffs and Defendants, Todd has appeared at the trial and appeal levels of the Ontario, British Columbia and Federal Courts, the Supreme Court of Canada, and in legal, medical, real estate, securities, veterinarian and engineering discipline hearings, among others.
