Quang is an associate with Macaulay McColl. He received his Bachelor of Arts (English Literature) degree from the University of British Columbia in 2001. He received his law degree from the University of Manitoba in 2004.

Prior to articling with Macaulay McColl, Quang was a law clerk with the Tax Court of Canada. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2007.
